Meet the top 7 most stylish Ghanaian footballers

We tip our hats to the most fashionable Ghanaian players off the field.

Footballers are among the highest-paid athletes on the planet. But it seems that a large salary does not always transfer into wise wardrobe contents.

Their big pay packets, you would think, ought to stir-up a breeding ground of stylish 20 to 30-somethings roaming the training grounds, gated communities and Michelin starred restaurants of global footballing cities. More often than not, however, it’s more a case of ‘all the gear but no idea’.
These Ghanaian  footballers   have an excellent taste for  fashion  and  can  qualify as fashionistas on any  day.

Kevin-Prince Boateng
The handsome Ghanaian national who has played for Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan, Schalke 04 and Las Palmas definitely has an eye for fashion and labels which he seems happy to shows off.  More quirky and unconventional than classic,  he goes for urban, edgy pieces and is not afraid of an accessory or two.

Michael Essien
Michael Essien played nine years for the fashionable West London club Chelsea and can pull of any look, from bespoke to street chic. He works-in accoutrements, like scarves, especially well and, despite having a great haircut, he can even pull off hats.

Abedi Ayew Pele
Legendary player for Olympique Marseille and Ghana, he has upped his fashion sense since becoming quitting football. Always reed thin, he’s especially impressive in slim-fitting suits with a tie underneath.

Andre Ayew
Abedi Pele’s second son is surely going to be in the list of best dressed Ghanaian footballers any day.

Sulley Muntari
While not particularly fashion forward, Muntari always looks well put together and obviously thinks about what he wears even if it mostly not on the more casual side of fashion.  When you are married to a beauty queen you need to make sure your style is up to scratch! (I know I’m supposed to focus on Muntari but I can’t help drooling over Minaye’s looks).

Samuel Osei Kuffour
Former Bayern Munich defender to switch from a defender to a striker when it comes to fashion.  His style is youthful and trend led – skinny shorts, high end trainers, print shirts and he has fun with it. A gentleman at all times – before; during; and after his football career.

Anthony Baffoe
Baffoe keeps it simple but stylish in that straightforward mans’ man style in bright casual wear, nice suits in slightly adventurous colours and trendy denim and accessories.

How Hard Is it to Be Truly in Love?

How Hard Is it to Be Truly in Love? We all want it, but some of us run from it. Not the chemistry or the attraction. I'm talking about the ability for "ease," which happens when we get one another. There's no threat, no weird jealousy, just a willingness and understanding that exists naturally.  It doesn't mean falling in love is all gumdrops and lollipops; it means there's a common ground at the base of the relationship. It's not about forcing our agenda. We have some control over how open or closed we are to others and their way; we also decide how open we are to real love. We may meet someone and have that ease but may not know what to do with it, so we keep looking for what we know, a partnership that is a battle for control.  The battles begin, with lines drawn in the sand, and then the nitpicking comes, while each side hopes the other will finally get it. It's a struggle and it ain't about love! Why do people walk away from ease , and go w...
